On arriving at the Sinagpore Cruise Centre in Marina Bay, we are directed to the custom clearance and then proceed to register indiviually with the staff. We make our seapass card which link our personal data with photogragh. Before boarding we have to indicate the type of payment for our on board expenses. This seapass serves a vital part of our travel for the 5 days cruise as it is use as a pass for boarding and alighting from the ship , as for record card for all our on board purchases, as a door access card to our staterooms and as a personal identification for our dinner reservations. By that time we board the ship it is already 1.30pm and we are informed to go for a bite at the restaurant on deck 11.
We check into our stateroom and found that our luggage has already delivered to our room. The room service staff, Jin from China, introduce himself and inform us that he is assigned to serve us and to clean our room for the whole journey. At 3.00pm we assemble at the station and are given a briefing on the safety routine on board the ship. The voyage begins at 4pm and we set sail for next port of call to Penang.
