Shenyang to Offer 72-hour Visa Free Stay

China’s Shenyang, the capItal of Liaoning province in north of China, is ready to offer 72-hour visa free stays from the first day of 2014, following Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Chongqing.
Travelers from 45 countries are expected to enjoy this policy if they hold third country visas and have onward tickets to the next destination in a third country or region within 72 hours, according to the authorities of Shenyang city’s border control station.
This policy will boost the number of tourists and bring in revenue. More than 750,000 foreign tourists visit Shenyang last year. The number of visitors increase by about 18 percent year by year accroding to the city’s tourism bureau.
Shenyang is one of the popular tour destination in north of China. The main acctractions in Shenyang include Shenyang Gugong Museum, Zhao Tomb.
