Devices Allowed to Use for European Flyers Soon

Currently smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices can be used only while a flights is in the air. However, this situation will be changed in Euro following the United State soon.
Europe is relaxing rules about the use of electronics during fights, paving the way for devices to be used during take off and landing. European flyers will be able to use devices for whole flight trip from take-off to landing.
The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) stipulated that devices must be used in airplane-mode,this means passengers cannot use voice or text services,due to the possibility of radio interference with flight equipment.
The changes will apply to aircraft operated by European airlines and are likely to be introduced at the end of the month.
Patrick Ky, the EASA executive director said ” This is a major step in the process of expanding the freedom to use personal electronic devices on-board aircraft without compromise in safety.”
